The foundation of this complex was laid in the 1940s by the late Hajj Hassan Vafaei Sadr (Bavafa), the elder of the family, one of the pioneers and confidants of the Tehran dried fruit guild, on Jomhuri Street; where the name Vafaei was associated with honesty, quality, and fairness in business and became a well-known name among guilds and customers.

Over the time, relying on the precious legacy of that great man and with a forward-looking outlook, Vafaei Holding was formed; a dynamic and multi-dimensional complex that today has an active and effective presence in the fields of dried fruits, Herbal products, Medical orthopedic screws, and Synthetic leather.
